About Sarah Erickson, DNP
I have 14 years of experience including critical care where I gained experience with diet/nutrition, lab interpretation, and critical thinking skills. I have a deep love for the Gospel and I know how God has changed my life for the better. I have experienced the struggles of homelessness and poverty. I have learned what it takes to go from rags to riches sort of speak, losing a mother, father, and brother to cancer. I learned from those losses that Western medicine is not the only answer and sometimes natural is just better. I spent a lot of those hard times researching and learning about natural treatment methods that did not have harsh and devastating side effects. I want to share the things that I learned with others, allowing them to make informed decisions about their care. I started Grace Mindset to improve the option for mental health care that people in my state of North Carolina could receive.
I have spent a lot of time helping people with many different issues, which is why this is a judgment-free zone. While obtaining my doctorate degree I educated fellow healthcare workers on stigma and how their behavior affected their patients. I taught that situations can cause people to do things they may not normally do and that you never really know what someone is going through. To put it plainly, if you haven’t walked in someone’s shoes, do not judge them.
My philosophy centers around fostering a compassionate and empowering therapeutic environment where individuals can embark on a transformative journey toward inner healing, resilience, and the rediscovery of a life filled with hope, purpose, and profound self-acceptance.
